Toss out the normal one and grab the glitched one. One of those is normal and one is a glitched.
When the dispenser finally breaks, two of the same item will appear on the ground. If you're doing it properly, the item will be placed and removed from the container repeatedly. Have your friend begin breaking the dispenser with a pickax and while he or she is doing that, press and hold the A button. Place the item that you wish to duplicate in the dispenser. Play the game with a friend and make sure that a dispenser has been placed. It may also not work following subsequent patches to the game. Note that this glitch doesn't always work, but it does have a high probability of duplicating items.
